Abstract
TC6 alloy is characterized by high strength, light weight and excellent hot workability, which makes it an ideal material for engine blades, turbine disks and other components in the aerospace field. However, there are outstanding problems such as low hardness and poor wear resistance, which seriously affect its reliability and service life. The micro-arc oxidation technology, combined with magnetron sputtering, spraying and other means, to achieve the TC6 alloy surface TiO2 ceramic layer, TiO2/MoS2 composite coatings can be controlled and efficiently prepared, to explore the different coatings microstructural characteristics, thickness and hardness changes, and to further explore the influence of the above changes on the tribological behavior of the law and the mechanism. The results show that the hardness of the samples after micro-arc oxidation is about 560 HV, which is about 47% higher than that of the substrate, the wear rate decreases by about 96%, and the friction coefficient does not change significantly. The hardness of TiO2/MoS2 composite coatings prepared by combining different techniques decreases to about 350 HV, but the tribological behavior is significantly improved, and the coefficient of friction can be reduced by 75%, and the wear rate can be reduced by 80%-96%. Coatings prepared by composite technology have better friction and wear properties compared to coatings prepared by micro-arc oxidation.
