摘要
Osteosarcoma is one of the most prevalent malignant bone tumors, and incomplete tumor resection significantly increases the risk of local recurrence. To address this challenge, it is critical to develop implants with tumor-inhibiting properties. In this study, we fabricated cryptotanshinone (CPT) films of varying thicknesses on titanium substrates using low-power electron beam deposition, with the aim of investigating their efficacy against bone tumors. The structure and morphology of the CPT films were characterized by 1H-NMR, IR, XPS and SEM. The release kinetics of CPT were also examined, demonstrating sustained release conducive to long-term antitumor effects. In vitro assessments, including cytotoxicity assays, live/dead staining, wound-healing assays, and Western blot analysis, revealed that the CPT films exhibited strong antitumor activity against MNNG/HOS cells, effectively inhibiting their proliferation and migration.
